The U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000 as seen on ST:VI The Undiscovered Country. Almost literally 20,000 tri?s more than my original Excelsior model. This model took a better part of a YEAR to get it this far! The goal was to make a ?render quality gaming mesh?. Though the detail is there she is meant to be rendered in full view. Not extremely close up.This model is based off of the 7ft ILM Studio Model used in ST: III through ST: VI. Most of the detail?s are pure ?eyeball?, because there are LOTS of reference photos for the 7ft ILM model, but NO blueprints of the 7ft ILM model. Most prints i found were based off of the 4ft Greg Jien Voyager: Flashback model, or the DS9 CGI, or just fan made. Which was not what i was looking for.NX-2000, and Enterprise-B/Lakota variants are also in work.This model will be used in ST: Continuum, but she is also free to download.
