They are likely to break or damage other things during traveling. To protect the prongs simply put on this cap before packing your charger. Other supports are not recomended.Post-PrintingClean the slits on both sides of the protector so the tab can move (bend) freely. How I Designed ThisStarted from an europlug specification drawing. The tolerances allowed are quite large so I designed the cap with a springy tab on each side. This provides the required friction for the cap to stay in place while allowing it to have a slightly wider enclosure necessary to fit all plugs.
