ABOUT THIS MODEL
Description & specifications
I wanted to mount a camera facing my work so I can livestream. I have a magnifying lamp from Rockler at my workstations. So I created a quick and simple mount.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:SeeMeCNCPrinter:Rostock MAX v2Rafts:NoSupports:NoResolution:0.6mmInfill:50%Notes:Walls are setup for a 0.6mm nozzle. A 0.3mm would also work. I use 6 exterior layers on all faces. I would specify 12 outer layers if I had used the 0.3mm nozzle. This isn?t really expected to bear any load but it does compress around the gooseneck a bit to keep from slipping. A good solid surface seems best. How I Designed ThisI sketched the more complex face.Select the parts of the sketch to extrude. The bolt head will be about 15mm so I extruded it to a height of 20mm.And then I created a sketch that put a hole exactly in the center of the area where the bolt will go. And then extruded/cut the hole for the bolt. This is the final render of the part before sending to the 3D printer.Setup the 3D print job using Simplify3D and send it to the printer via USB.Credits:webaugur Rate this 3D modelDownload 3D modelsFileFile size Camera_Mount_for_Rockler_Magnifying_Lamp71 KB
